In 2021, Inpex performed their first major maintenance campaign at their Ichthys onshore LNG facility, and Winnellie Hydraulics was proud to support this project.
Winnellie Hydraulics supported many work fronts by suppling technical hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication applications found throughout the facility. Often these components were of an urgent nature and required solutions immediately. In partnership with the End User onsite, Winnellie Hydraulics also provided a turbine specific mobile workshop, filled with the appropriate tooling to service these critical assets.
It is rarely viable for sites to consider purchasing tooling for short-term, large-scale maintenance campaigns, so rental tools are a great option. Winnellie Hydraulics have the largest hydraulic torque and tension hire tooling fleet in Northern Australia. Coupling with capability with our selected and trusted partners, Winnellie Hydraulics provided specialised hydraulic tooling across multiple scopes. Too ensure this critical phase of the shutdown ran accordingly, Winnellie Hydraulics provided an experienced LNG and Flange Management technician onsite to support the selected work fronts.
The company’s division, Winnellie Valve and Process supplied numerous gas transmission and process valves, filters and specialised fittings to the onshore and offshore facilities. Generally, these items require long leads times to manufacture to the strict industry standards. Our well experienced application specialists worked in partnership the Valve Engineering and Procurement teams, to ensure the complexities and coordination of these critical elements were delivered to the respective facilities for installation during the shutdown period.
